General terms and conditions of sale
These conditions apply to all sales made with Hostellerie de L'abbaye, 1 place des époux Laurant 79370 Celles sur Belle (except for group reservations). (except for group reservations).
The customer acknowledges that they have read and understood these general terms and conditions of sale and undertakes to respect them.
These terms and conditions of sale may be modified at any time, and the applicable conditions will be those in effect on the date of the reservation.
ARTICLE 1 - RATES
Prices are indicated in Euros.
VAT is always included.
The prices indicated only include the services strictly mentioned in the reservation.
The price mentioned in the reservation will be added to the additional services provided by the hotelier during the stay and, if applicable, the tourist tax.
The applicable prices are those in effect on the day of the reservation.
Hoteliers are free to change their prices at any time.
Also, the price displayed during a visit to the website hostellerie-de-abbaye.fr is only valid for orders placed during the duration of its display.
Only the price indicated in the reservation confirmation is contractual.
No stay booked before the implementation of a possible promotional offer will be eligible for a refund, even partial.
ARTICLE 2 - RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT METHODS

The reservation will only be effective if it is guaranteed by the customer,
by providing a credit card number with a validity date.
Payment for all services will be made directly to the hotel
(except for prepaid reservations made at the time of booking).
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is incorrect
or the reservation is incomplete.
Reservations, regardless of their origin, will only be payable in Euros.
Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and Eurocard, and has a secure reservation system (SSL)
that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted during the reservation to prevent any disclosure to a third party.
When recording the reservation, an authorization to debit the credit card will be made.
This will be done for informational purposes only, and will not be a debit from the account unless in the following cases: Non-cancelable and non-refundable promotional offer.
If the credit card validity date is prior to the arrival date.
If the arrival date is more than 89 days from the reservation date.
The customer is solely responsible for their choice of services and their suitability to their needs, so that the responsibility of Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye cannot be sought in this regard
ARTICLE 3 - FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure is understood as any external event to the parties presenting a character that is both unpredictable and insurmountable which prevents either the customer or the hotelier from fulfilling all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract.
This is particularly the case in the event of a strike, insurrection, riot, prohibitions issued by government or public authorities
It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends, for the parties, the execution of their reciprocal obligations and that each party bears the cost of the expenses that result from it.
Customers will particularly bear the additional costs that may be incurred to allow the continuation of the trip, following the occurrence of a case of force majeure.
ARTICLE 4 - MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY
Any modification or cancellation of the reservation must be the subject of a request
by email to arnguerin@gmail.com or by phone at 05 49 26 03 18.
The request will only become effective when Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye has confirmed its acceptance in writing.
In the event of a modification or cancellation of the stay, the following conditions apply (except in cases of force majeure):
For any reservation made and paid via the website, no withdrawal period will be accepted and no refund will be made;
For any request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date, the amount of the first night will be charged;
In the event of no-show on the scheduled arrival date, your credit card will be debited for the total amount of the stay;
Any stay started is fully due.
For reservations made via the website of our partners, cancellation must be made via this website.
The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to the partner and may therefore be different from those of Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye
In the event of an extension of stay, the customer must inquire with the hotel reception by 10:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of the scheduled departure, in order to know the availability.
ARTICLE 5 - THE HOTEL AND SERVICES
The child breakfast rate applies to children up to 10 years old inclusive.
For reasons of safety and hygiene, our animal friends are not allowed in the bar, breakfast room.
Rooms are available from 4:00 p.m. and must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure.
A supplement may be charged in case of non-compliance with the maximum departure time.
In the event of arrival after 9:00 p.m., the reception must be notified.
The customer agrees and undertakes to use the room as a good father.
Also, any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or without any refund if a payment has already been made.
During the COVID period, there will be no cleaning of the room during your stay.
Information will be communicated to you upon arrival regarding this rule.
ARTICLE 6 - REHOUSING
In the event of unavailability of Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye or in case of force majeure, the latter reserves the possibility of having the customer accommodated, totally or partially, in a hotel of equivalent or superior category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be at the expense of the hotelier, who cannot be sought for payment of any additional indemnity.
In the COVID period, no rehousing can be done except in case of technical problems in the room.
ARTICLE 7 - COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be sent to Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, and this within a period of 15 days following the departure from the stay that is the subject of the complaint.
After this deadline, no complaint can be taken into account.
ARTICLE 8 - INFORMATICS AND FREEDOM
In application of the law of January 6, 1978, known as the Data Protection Act, customers are informed that their reservation is the subject of computerized nominative processing.
Users have a right of access and rectification of the data entered, which is exercised with the head office:

Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye offers Wi-Fi internet access.
The customer user undertakes that the computer resources made available to them will not be used for the purpose of reproducing, representing, making available or communicating to the public works or objects protected by copyright, by a neighboring right such as texts, images, photographs, audiovisual works, software, and video games, without the authorization of the rights holders provided for in books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, when this authorization is required.
Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye has a video surveillance system in the common areas of the building and the parking lot.
ARTICLE 9 - RESPONSIBILITIES
Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye disclaims all liability in the event of theft, loss, or degradation of the customer's belongings during their stay.
The customer will be held responsible for any damage, degradation, or act of vandalism that may occur due to the occupation of the premises and/or due to the participants and/or the personnel for which they are responsible, both for movable, decorative, and immovable property belonging or not to the hotel.
Therefore, Hotel L'hostellerie de L'Abbaye can ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and without any refund for the stay in progress, and to reimburse the damage caused by these acts.
ARTICLE 10 - APPLICABLE LAW
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.
This applies to both substantive and procedural rules.
Disputes will fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
